Here are some of the reasons why you might want to disable Gravatars:
- You want to improve the loading speed of your website. Gravatars can add a significant amount of weight to your pages, so disabling them can help to improve performance.
- You want to protect your users’ privacy. Gravatars are publicly available, so disabling them can help to protect your users’ privacy.
- You want to use your own custom avatars. Gravatars are not always the best looking, so you may want to use your own custom avatars instead.
